Anna Staritsky: poetess of ritual
Anna Staritsky was born in Poltava, Ukraine. She worked mainly in Belgium and after the Second World War, in France. Having studied in Moscow and lived outside of Ukraine for most of he life, Anna Staritsky retained a very strong sense of Ukrainian identity and had a deep connection with her home country. The selection of collages and oil paintings presented here showcase some of Anna Staritsky's most adventurous periods.
